Dr. J. Paul Elliott, M.D.
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Elliott is a Fellowship-Trained and Board-Certified Neurosurgeon. Since June 2006 he has served as the President and CEO of Colorado Brain and Spine Institute, LLC. Dr. Elliott has served as the Chief of Neurosurgery at Swedish Hospital for the past 18 years, where he is also a Neurosurgeon. He has also served as a Senior Clinical Instructor for the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Colorado since 2005.. Dr. Elliott earned his M.D. from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and holds a B.S. and M.S. in Biological Science, with Honors, from Stanford University.

Rob Flintom
Chief Financial Officer
Rob Flintom has over 30 years of experience in the fiscal side of the medical field. He has run a diverse range of hundreds of practices and/or businesses ranging from private practices, doctor-groups and entrepreneurs serving the healthcare industry. Shortly after receiving a business administration degree from Southern Methodist University in 1988, he joined a nationwide, outsourced CFO firm, which he now owns and manages. In addition to his professional responsibilities, he serves as a fiduciary Trustee for multiple Trusts and volunteers his business expertise to non-profits and charities.

Roy is a founder and Executive Chairman of Health Professionals Alliance Inc., a national healthcare technology and services company. Roy has several decades of experience acquiring and managing a variety of businesses.
Dan Barnett
Co-Chairman and CEO
Dan is a founder and the Finance Director of Health Professionals Alliance Inc., and was previously the founder, Chairman, and CEO of Advocate MD Financial Group Inc., a medical malpractice insurance holding company acquired by FPIC Group, a NASDAQ insurance company (subsequently acquired by The Doctors Company). He has several decades of experience as a C-level executive, investment fund manager, and investment banker. Dan received his B.S. in Finance from Arizona State University College of Business Administration in 1981.
P. Brendon Lundberg
Chief Operating Officer
Brendon has over 15 years of experience in healthcare as an entrepreneur and senior executive. He is the co-founder of Radiant Pain Relief Centres. He most recently served as President of Membership for Health Professionals Alliance Inc. Brendon has his MBA and B.S. in Marketing from the University of Phoenix – Phoenix Main Campus.

Dr. Elliott is a Fellowship-Trained and Board-Certified Neurosurgeon. Since June 2006 he has served as the President and CEO of Colorado Brain and Spine Institute, LLC. Dr. James “Morty” Mortinsen, M.D.

Dr. Mortinsen has over 28 years of experience as a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist. He was Chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology at Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Hospital in Denver from 1998-2003. He most recently was a staff anesthesiologist with U.S. Anesthesiology Partners (USAP) in Denver where he retired in 2021. Dr. Mortinsen received his M.D. from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine and completed his anesthesiology residency at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine.

Lisa Fagan BSN, MSN, MBA is the CEO of Smith Medical Denver ASC. Prior to joining Smith Medical she managed several teams over the course of 11 years and started her carreer as a nurse in the operating room. Her most recent role was CEO of Denver Surgery Center, a 15,000 square-foot facility with five operating rooms and a convalescent & recovery center that she opened in 2018. Lisa’s experience in the operating room combined with her management background provides the Board with specific knowledge of the Company’s operations and a greater understanding of the Company’s strategic opportunities to grow while ensuring the highest quality of patient care.
