What To Expect

Patients will be under general anesthesia to ensure their comfort throughout the procedure. Depending on the surgical approach, the exact nature of the procedure may differ. Generally, during the procedure, the surgeon will improve the structural support of the nostrils. Typically, the surgeon will use a cartilage graft to offer support. 

After the procedure, patients will often experience pain at the site of the incision and inside the nose. This can be managed through anti-inflammatory pain medications. The entire recovery process typically takes around two weeks, depending on the severity of the obstruction. It is crucial that patients follow all instructions.
